competition wins for Feb 2009

Well, it's been a long time since i've done any blogging, due to being extra busy with booking up the year ahead and into next year. So far we've only got availability for another three weddings this year, and next year is looking very promising too.

I've been pestered by my partner Katie to enter some more competitions again, so in February i did, and came away with two silver awards, and five bronze awards. Not a bad start to the year really!

This week sees the real start of the wedding season, with three weddings due later on this week, firstly at Hotel Endsleigh, then Bovey Castle (my favorite venue), and then Polhawn fort to finish the week off! The images should be available to view online within the next week.

I had the pleasure of shooting Jan & Nigel's engagement at Bovey Castle last week, in preparation of their wedding next September. We had a great time, and i'm really looking forward to meeting up with them next time they're over from Malta. Please bring the sun with you again though!

Wedding images from Newnham park, plymouth

Well Karen & Martyn had the only sun in August in the south west! Their wedding in lympton was on a glorious day, which is a good job as it's the first one i've shot in a marquee for some time. Karen was totally up for having loads of images and they've a fair few to choose from! The whole gallery can be found online in the recent weddings section.

in the past two weeks we have shot at the Horn Of plently in devon, and at the mount murray country club on the Isle Of Man. the selection of images are from these shoots. There was almost a gale blowing in the IOM Shots! it's just so worth putting up with the weather to get shots like these!
