What a month May has been for the competitions! With the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers image competition i have this month won a gold award for Environmental Portraiture with an image of a fisherman mending nets in The Gambia, West Africa, along with 6 silver awards, including Wedding contemporary and Contemporary Portraiture. Gold: Awards will go forward to the annual judging and are deemed to be images of the highest standard and will be published in Professional Imagemaker
Silver: Above standard. These images will be reviewed every three months and have the potential of being reclassified as Gold.
